Alpha Dive Centre was established in the Strand some 20 years ago and has been a permanent fixture in Main Road ever since! At the heart of the dive centre is owner-manager Ettienne Raal with a personal dive history that started in 1985. As with any successful business, there is a team of staff, instructors and technicians that together make up the Alpha Dive Centre family with a combined teaching experience of over 35 years. We are also very proud of divers that have been trained up and later find themselves in dive locations and careers as far afield as Mauritius, Redsea, Seychelles, Thailand, Fiji, Australia, Florida, Mediterranean, Saudi and slightly closer to home in Mozambique and Sodwana Bay. SKYDIVE CAPE TOWN A 35-minute drive north along the R27 or West Coast road as it’s more commonly known, is all it takes for you to be whisked from the Cape Town city centre to the closest skydiving drop zone to South Africa’s tourism capital, boasting one of the best views in the world from altitude. Be the best in the game! 3D ARCHERY EXPERIENCE After introduction and basic instruction (15-20 minutes), our instructor and guide will set off with you into our indigenous forest and guide you through our 3D ARCHERY TRAIL. Our targets are all man-made. We do not condone the shooting of live animals. TARGET ARCHERY EXPERIENCE Approximately 45 Minutes Each target is marked with a circle surrounded by several rings. Archers earn a set number of points for hitting the various areas on the target with their arrows. They earn the most points for hitting the circle in the centre and the least points for hitting the outer ring. An archer shoots 3 arrows per end. After each end, the competitors walk to the target to score and retrieve their arrows.
