Helderberg Nature Reserve Hacks
Hacks take place on the second Saturday of every month. We usually start at 08:00. During summer months however we start at 7:30 to beat the heat of the day. We work for about two and a half hours including a short break.

We meet in the parking area between the Conservators Office and the Education Centre. For more information contact James Silberbauer on 078 306 1660.
What to bring:
Yourself, first of all. Although we provide all the tools and herbicide, you are welcome to bring your own loppers or bush saws along. For those who wish to protect their hands some gardening gloves or something similar would be advisable.
Bring some water or cold drinks, and if you wish, a bite to eat. We supply some refreshments during a “tea break”. From time to time we do a bit of socialising in the form of a braai after the hack as a thank-you for your efforts.
