The Simola Hillclimb, South Africa’s premier motorsport event, is a “must attend” on the motoring calendar. This adrenaline-fueled extended weekend caters to sports stars, celebrities, top drivers, and passionate fans of all ages.

 Classic Car Friday:
Kickstart the action with Classic Car Friday featuring 65 iconic cars and drivers from various eras competing for the coveted Classic Conqueror Trophy.

 King of the Hill:
On Saturday and Sunday, witness the intensity as 84 competitors tackle the challenging 1.9 km course. From showroom-spec sedans to elite supercars and purpose-built Hillclimb beasts, the competition is fierce across three categories: Road-going Saloon Cars and Supercars; Modified Saloon Cars; and Single Seater and Sports Cars.

 International Flavor:
With a growing international interest, expect an even larger contingent of overseas competitors, adding global allure to this exceptional event.

Additional Activities – Fanfest, Town Display, and Parade:
Immerse yourself in the excitement with scrutineering of Hillclimb cars, driver engagement, and the iconic public parade. From vehicle displays to entertainment, there’s something for everyone. Don’t miss the chance to get up close with race cars and competitors during the displays and car parades in Central Knysna. The action unfolds from early morning to shortly after lunch, showcasing Classic Car Friday on Thursday and King of the Hill competitors on Friday.
