This Provence style villa is set on the side of the mountain overlooking Gordon’s Bay Village and False Bay and the views are unforgettable. The mountain behind is a nature reserve – secluded, private, natural, peaceful and unspoilt. Gordons Bay is a beautiful village with 2 harbours, lovely restaurants & bars, blue flag beaches (3minutes) and only 15 minutes away to some of the oldest & most famous wine estates in the Western Cape.

This little haven of peace in a pretty garden setting is situated in the quiet residential area of Strand North. The property lies on the banks of the Lourens River overlooking Strand Golf Course and is a mere 5 minute walk from the beach and popular surf spot. The flat is a fully equipped self-catering unit, comfortably sleeping 2 people. A bathroom leads off the open plan living and kitchen area while the cosy sleeping quarters is up-stairs on a mezzanine floor. Safe parking is available on the property as well as DSTV and wi-fi.

Our guesthouse is very homely and has a lovely warm, welcoming, peaceful and relaxed atmosphere with a big pool in the middle of the property. We took ownership of the guesthouse in November 2016 and after a brief renovation opened our doors to guests in December 2016. Whether you’re visiting for business or pleasure our area has so much to offer: fantastic golf courses, stunning wine farms and world-class restaurants. Not to mention hiking in the Cape Nature Reserves and visiting the many pristine beaches in and around our area and Cape Town. Cape Town is a mere 30 min drive from our guesthouse. You’ll love and enjoy our beautiful area and we look forward to welcoming you!. We also offer a delicious breakfast included in your booking rate. Please note: Unfortunately we do not accept children under the age of 12.

Being closely situated to Vergelegen Medi-Clinic also makes Cork Tree Cottage an ideal overnight facility for those travelling from afar needing to be at Medi-Clinic for medical tests or to visit family or friends in the hospital.
